i had another crazy family dinner tonite. as usual. i wont say much, but here are some quotes just to relive the mood. and yes, i call my grandfather fafa. quiet you. i couldnt pronounce grandfather when i was two.

fafa: "so i went to blockbuster and got a coupon to rent gosford park for free"

mom: "twice?"

fafa: (as we go around a cul-de-sac..haha funny) "youve spent all your life driving the right way around this circle, and now that youre fifty, what has it gotten you?"

andrew: "mice" (pronounced meese)

** ahh its funny that the 'punchlines' of these two quotes rhyme**

andrew: "what do you think alie would do if someone had a tshirt with e.t. on it?"

fafa: "i imagine it would be like me walking into a bedroom where there was butter all over the bedsheets"

jon: "so you put dill in the pocket of your shorts, you put the shorts through the washing machine, you take the dill out- it still smells like dill"

all of these were totally random conversations. theyre not like family inside jokes. youre supposed to say 'what the hell?' when you read them.

i also saw ms. greiner and mrs. brody at the same restaurant we ate at. it was pretty a lot more awkward than i thought it would be. cuz ms. brody apparently likes me so much. yeah, so..right.

i got the most incredible drink tonite. its called the 'slurp + gulp' from 7/11 (yeah, i want to write it that way). its like a huge big gulp with this wierd plastic top with a tube in it that holds slurpee. the tube goes inside the soda in the big gulp cup. its wierd. and there are two straws. one for the soda and one for the slurpee. its kind of like a paradox. in the beverage world. i wish i could put pictures on this thing to show the world.

alright well, camp tomorrow. my team, the '2002 allstar pythons', composed of 8 year olds, will certainly be winning their game. it will be so fun. and i get to hang out with andys mom. and sister. which is always an incredible experience. hah. yay.

ooh and i wrote dan a letter tonite using only my left hand. i think ill do that more often. except my right hand got all jealous. ooohhhhh...
