i wrote a song. an actual real song. and it works. its not the crap ive been fucking around with for the past 5 years. im happy with this. and it might be just fucking wierd mood swing stuff...but i teared up at the end. ha ha.

yesterday, i did something so awesome and wonderful. well, i guess there were a few things that could fall into that category..but thats ok. i finally got up and went to the cd exchange. i was prepared to spend any amount of money on the stuff i wanted..having made upwards of $400 already this summer (if beauvoir ever decides to pay me). at first glance, i was very unhappy; they had absolutely nothing on my 'list.' and i had been neeeding the showoff cd for a really long time. i couldnt believe they didnt have it. but upon closer inspection of the cheaper music sections, i found they had everything i wanted and more. the list:

the dismemberment plan- change/ showoff- showoff/ red hot chili peppers- freaky styley (tape)/ sublime- second hand smoke/ they might be giants- apollo 18 (tape)/ various cool artists- songs in the key of x/ quarashi -?/ boston- greatest hits.. maybe.. (tape)/

im so proud of me.

ive been feeling particularly good lately.

summer is working alright.

i knew my creative outlet would come sometime. in this case it was 4am yesterday. but thats alright. 'the early hour' (appropriately named) is being put to music today, as soon as i finish my take home diagnostic.

so ill be doing a really good job concentrating on that.
