today was great. i cant pinpoin't the exact moment or even moments that made it great, but i had a...revelation.. of sorts while on the bike. in weight training. the excersize bike, stupid. and yeah, another one while on the eliptical machine (notice any trends?).
i really pushed myself hard today. i was just going pretty hard. i could've gone harder. but thats ok. i was elipticaling it up and thinking, 'man, i should just do this for 10 minutes..i'm tired' but i didnt let myself do that. i remembered back to soccer sophmore year. pre-season. we went to a park (just like the rock creek persuasion) and proceeded to run 3.5 miles. however, me and a few others walked alot...and just..slacked. after the coach noticed it took us over 35 minutes she yelled about how we 'didn't know what it was like to push our physical limits'. i've thought about that ever since. i really don't know what its like to push myself to the edge... to the point that those gatorade commericals oh-so-conveniently capture. and i want that. i was on that eliptical machine and i couldve stopped after 10 minutes...but i pushed myself. its one small step. but i like how it feels.

in other news...MS RODGERS WAS NOT IN SCHOOL TODAY. and that never happens. so we had ms groppe (J Gro) teach our class. and even though she went REALLY REALLY fast and i didn't understand that much, it was better than having ms rodgers. gehhh. yeah and then we got out 10 minutes early.

i made some hotttt 'open mic night' signs today. that took both my free periodzz. thennn mr. peterson wasnt present (again) and i didnt have 6th. so i sat in the chem lab and talked to daniel and messed around with liVeJOUrnal. woooot.

i dont know why this day was special. i'm just very happy with the way everything is working out these days. i can honestly smile and mean it. this weekend will be amazing. and it seems there are so many options out there. for the future. for everything. for smiley ole me.

and there will be a lot of happy people at prom this weekend.
