i thought it would be nice to share a few things. i really can't sit down and pour my heart out and write a meaningful entry...college is too overwhelming. but in that good way i'm sure. right now i'm sitting in my room, its 70 degrees outside, i've got city of caterpillar and cursive on shared iTunes folders, and i'm drinking my peach/ orange juice stolen from stevenson (the dining hall) out of my nalgene bottle. [they're really hip here.] we've been going bowling for no less than 2 hours a day; it's free and you get to wear cool shoes. my highest is 103..but i think i figured out the secret to bowling. and no, i am not going to share. becuase i have to win. because that's my nature. anyhow, tonight we are going to see a jug band called "jug free america" perform. i just know it will be amazing. on friday night a reggae band called the "peace love unity syndicate" played at the sco. everyone was SO into it and having fun and jumping around and nobody cared what they looked like or what everyone else looked like even though clearly some couples were coupling up right around us. i just have to remember that that is not what college is about. sometimes it's hard, but i know i do fine not paying attention to any of that crap.

this is the quad i live on. it's called 'north quad' because it's in north campus. if you take the right fork, you get to my dorm, east. shown below.
i'm on the 3rd floor and have a lovely view of the only parking lot on campus. i can probably get a better picture later.
this is tim. i photoshopped with the picture so i think it looks cool. this is what we do in college. we've started keeping a notebook of all the brilliant things we come up with. it's good stuff.
