so my dear, i return once again. i've been in chicago for the past week...well half a week but it felt like much much longer....visiting wonderful wonderful people. i have some pictures to share but i need to work on that photohosting thing once again.

it is a beautiful beautiful thing that emily and i, out of 798 others, got paired as roommates. i have such an incredible time when i'm around her, and she was an excellent city tourguide. we saw lots of city things, went to shows (of the acting persuasion), and ate some great vegan food. her mom also made me an entire new jewlery collection...because she's fun like that. so just to warn everyone, i'm going to start wearing earrings (in my ears that have been pierced since sixth grade...).

i know. i know. it's drastic. but we can all work through this together.

i'll go into more detail about the trip once i get those pictures rolling...but let it be known that i laughed more than i have in a while, and that felt really good. i also liked the city a lot a lot and it made me think (very very briefly and in little detail!) about living there later down the road. we'll see. i want to go back in the summer though, so i can experience more while wearing less than six layers of clothing.

in other news, the current musical obsession of this girl is "anyway" by dynamite hack. mostly because blue steel (um...nellie) sang an amazing version of it last year.

arg it got a little late. i have to stop spending money. not that those two thoughts are related. i'm going back to school in two weeks, and i'm not sure i'm prepared to handle it. but eh, i know i will. this is going to be my last week at work, becuase i'm reserving next week for packing, organizing, and worrying about packing and organizing. also to be completed next week are fun things like going to the dentist. who just might happen to be my mortal enemy. i'll keep you updated on that situation.
