right at this moment, i feel hit in the right way. i'm finally listening to the postal service and it's just making so much sense to me all right now. fucking a. it's so pretty.
things have been weird here. they're always weird here. yeah, okay. i don't know what to do with myself or to write about or how to explain it anymore. i've just described it too much already...arhg. i'm sorry.
i need to get sleep right now. we played a softball game in the rain and mud and freezing yesterday at hiram college. they gave us veggie burgers and 'strawberry shortcake' in a plastic cup because it was their ground- breaking ceremony. after our game the football team was playing. from oberlin. and as i walked up the stairs to the locker room, surrounded by 'hiram college' sweaters and banners and tshirts and jackets, i thought to myself, 'man do i hate your college. fucking GO OBERLIN!' i like my school.
i like the sunshine. i like having conversations on my bed and playing with my penguin named after a sauce. i like knowing people at 5 different tables in the dining hall. i like being told i'll be famous before the end of 4 years. i like the fucking postal service. i like getting illustrated letters on yellow paper from my dad every week. i like drinking lots and lots of coffee. i like sitting in the atrium of the science center and being productive. i like new music on my computer every day. i like quoting zoolander and finding people that like wet hot american summer. i like running my hands through short hair.
but i just wish i was inspired. i haven't been in a while. maybe that's the void. i hope it's nice out tomorrow so i can sit and write. now watch it rain like hell....
we don't have classes tomorrow, but i hope i didn't have a lot of work for tuesday. i certainly ignored it.
