this is my (insert large number here)th time attempting to write coherently in here. i always want to write everything down...but it almost seems chore-ish now. acutally, no. never. go online journals!

today was the lafayette spring fair. it was pretty much uneventful except for a few select scenes:
a) german chocolate cake
b) the 50 foot inflatable titanic slide
c) 2 vonnegut books for a dollar at the book sale.

so thats cool.

i remember being little. to make that statement a lot less general, i remember being little and not being able to sleep the night before the spring fair because i was so excited about it. we would always wake up and watch through our windows to see the ferris wheel being moved onto the upper field. we would be heartbroken if we had a soccer game during the hours of 9-3..it was not ok to miss the fun. we would be allowed to buy sodas and cotton candy and play the 'potty throw' (which was hilarious) and toss ping pong balls in fish bowls but never win and dunk the big kids in the dunk tank because we played baseball and we were good. everyone who was cool would be wearing their soccer or baseball uniforms and the lipsynching contest was always the best part. we always stayed off the upper field because we we're too old for those games. then there was raffle selling. but no one we knew ever won. it was alright, we got in the allstar group and got tshirts and a pizza party. life was so so good.

not that it's not now. because it is. it really really is. my last classes of high school are on may 16th. i dont have exams and i am passing my classes. i have a great band and the most amazing friends. just... wow.

i know i say it alot. but sometimes i can't believe it.

i'm going to see les mis at walter johnson tonite. i bet maret's will win.
