nothing is better than home movies. honestly. especially when one friend looks exactly like another friend and they are totally unrelated when the videos are shot. [brooke and jen. they look so goddamn much like the same person].

i was just driving home and a fucking buck was running frantically across connecticut ave. with huge antlers and the whole deal that comes with buck-ness.

so just like...take me out to that ball game.

oh wait. we went to dinner at this amazing little restaurant in great falls va called something french. i had an awesome time because the waiter was the best person ever. he was so polite and pushed in my chair for me and when he gave us free quische (sp?) (pronounced KEESH) there was ham in it and he asked if i was vegetarian and i am so he took my quische back and brought me free vegetables instead. i didn't tell him that my least favorite vegetables are tomatoes and mushrooms (we weren't really at that stage in our relationship) so i made a point of hiding the fact that my mom ate it instead of me. this meal had an immense number of courses.

first there was bread.
then free quische/ gross.
an appetizer of one's choosing.
a small garden salad.
grapefruit sorbet to cleanse the palate.
the main course.
a desert of one's choosing and coffee
and finally a fine selection of mints at the door

and i actually wasn't incapacitated.
