...i have no explanations for my actions...

some extremely odd instinctual trigger just went off in me when i heard the ice cream truck. i immediately got up from what i was doing and ran to the front door, only to realize [as always] that he had already passed my house. i leaned my forehead against the door and made a little pouty face because truly i must be five years old. then i noticed my neighbor was watching me through our glass front door and i ran away fast.

i didn't actually want any ice cream.
