my brother is home. and he came bearing coconut.

i was very excited to see him. my mom made a HUGE fuss about us leaving early enough to see them arrive at maret...so we left 20 minutes before the original early time we were going to leave, and then when we arrived there was the bus...in all its glory. it was very hot outside, which was multiplied by the fact that mara was present, unloading the bus, in a grass skirt. but that's besides the point.

i watched hedwig and the angry inch today, and i have to say i love the songs in it. seriously, the one about the origin of love made me tear up. i think i'll invest in the soundtrack, it may be a worthy cause. i also enjoyed the movie a whole lot, especially the part with the aryan gummi bears.

i also found another pet peeve of mine- when people eat my cereal and pour an extremely overzealous amount of my milk in it and then exclaim that they don't like milk in their cereal. what the hell people! use water! or nothing!
